The website of the NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE is intended to provide visitors with information about the association. The information on the site comes from sources considered reliable, but the NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE does not guarantee its accuracy, precision, relevance, completeness or it being up-to-date. The NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE shall not incur any legal or contractual liability for any direct or indirect damage incurred by a third party resulting from accessing, consulting or using the information provided on the site.

4 - Data processing

In order to be able to process requests for information sent by the visitor of the site, the NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE is required to process the visitor’s data during the digital response. To the extent that the processing of the request is fully managed in a computerised manner, the refusal by the visitor to fill in the forms on the site will lead to the refusal of the request.

According to the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679 EU Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council dated 27th, April 2016), the visitor has the following rights regarding his data :

The right to receive a copy of his personal data for his own usage;

The data will be retained during the processing of the request and the NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE undertakes not to communicate this data to any third party.

For people who subscribed to the newsletters, their personal data will be retained as long as they do not express their wish to unsubscribe to the newsletters (through the unsubscription link in the newsletters).

The visitor also has to right to lodge a complaint with the “Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données” if he thinks that the management of his personal data infringes the General Data Protection Regulation.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, subject to the mandatory applicability of another law. In case of any dispute, the case shall be referred to the competent court of the district of Luxembourg City.
